Dance Paradise jest familijną grą muzyczną wykorzystującą dobrodziejstwa kontrolera Kinect. Zadaniem gracza jest naśladowanie układów choreograficznych w takt przygrywających kawałków. Same utwory są bardzo zróżnicowane i każdy na pewno znajdzie coś dla siebie.

W Dance Paradise usłyszymy rytmy Hip-Hopu, dance, rocka oraz R&B. Wszystkie ruchy jakie zobaczymy w grze są inspirowane znanymi wideoklipami. Pląsać możemy zarówno w pojedynkę, jak i ze znajomym w trybie multiplayer, gdzie twórcy oddali nam do dyspozycji kilka opcji w skład których wchodzą Synchro, Versus oraz Attack.
